Michelle Brandt
Painting
Bio: Michelle K. Brandt moved to Dayton from Phoenix AZ in 1977. After raising a family & working in electrical supply and plumbing, she retired in 2022. Now with time, she concentrated on her artwork. Michelle loves the bright colors you will find in her garden and it reflects in her artwork.
Working primarily in Acrylics and watercolors, on canvas & boards, she paints landscapes, cityscapes, botanicals, and pets, in a somewhat loose impressionistic style. With bold bright colors, and lots of layers, her paintings come alive with that energy.
With mentors and teachers, the late Cinnamon Cooney, and Ginger Cook, Michelle has learned not to be afraid to take a chance and try a new technique or medium.
She has resided in the Belmont neighborhood in Dayton OH for 40+ years.
A member of the Dayton Society of Artists, and The Tipp City Area Arts Council, she has exhibited and sold paintings in a variety of exhibitions.
