Artist Statement: Let me sum up everything you're about to read: I love Art!
I am an emerging artist from Fairborn, Ohio working primarily in watercolor and acrylic. As I continue finding my visual niche, I allow my style to evolve instead of forcing it into one specific look. My work is shaped by curiosity, intuition, and the experiences around me, and I value growth and play just as much as the finished piece.
Color is at the center of everything I create. It brings energy and movement into my work and builds depth through layering. The longer you sit with a piece, the more it begins to reveal itself. I want my artwork to feel worth slowing down for, something that invites a closer look rather than being passed by.
My process often combines multiple reference images or focusing on whatever is physically in front of me. I blend observation with instinct and let each piece develop in a way that feels natural to me instead of overly controlled. That balance between structure and freedom is important to my practice.
When I experience other artists’ work, I approach it with awe and gratitude. There is something powerful about seeing someone translate their inner thoughts onto a canvas. I hope my work is received with that same openness and appreciation, leaving space for personal interpretation and connection.
